A quick intro into Kind & Firm, a concept I first read about in Steve Biddulph’s books and later in Positive Discipline! To me, a Mum and a parent coach, this is such an important concept that I fit it into all my mindful parenting workshops. None of us are perfect, we can’t be kind and firm all the time but it is great to have a general direction to head towards and I know when I’m there as it feels right!! The best way to find your kind and firm sweet spot is to negotiate the solution with your child if they are over 4! 🙂
