16 May 2015 – 20 days Countdown to 28th SEA Games: Ministry of Social and Family Development

2015 marks the 20th anniversary of Singapore’s accession to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The children and youth in the video embody our shared aspiration for every child and youth (and adult!) to learn about these rights and make them a living reality. Our aim is for children and youth to advocate for lasting change.

In line with the 28th SEA GAMES 2015 theme of “Celebrating the Extraordinary”, the making of the mural brings together 60 individual children and youth from different backgrounds, communities, ethnic groups, genders and religions.

Bringing forth the spirit of the SEA Games, children and youth are encouraged to interlace sport elements of into their art pieces which join together to create a large mural. The resulting mural will celebrate the extraordinary potential of our children and youth whose unique voices create a beautiful chorus.

Instead, it is a means of reducing stress and balancing, strengthening and restoring body chemistry. When this is done, many health conditions improve by themselves.
